APA ITU AUTORESPONDER ?


Salah satu ciri yang penting dan amat berkesan dalam membantu sesebuah laman web jualan yang berjaya ialah sistem Autorepondernya. APA ITU CPANEL ?

Di dalam post yang lalu, kita telah pun berkenalan dengan apa itu nama domain dan web hosting. Untuk menguruskan kerja-kerja laman web kita di web hosting, kita memerlukan apa yang dipanggil Cpanel.

Apakah itu Cpanel ?

Secara istilahnya, cPanel adalah berasal dari perkataan Control Panel atau Panel Kawalan. Istilah Control Panel atau Panel Kawalan ini mungkin biasa kita dengar di dalam pelbagai bidang lain yang membabitkan kawalan berpusat. Namun Control Panel atau cPanel yang dimaksudkan di sini adalah mengkhusus untuk kerja-kerja pengurusan dan pengawalan laman web dan ianya dilakukan secara online.

Di antara fungsi-fungsi Cpanel ialah :

- menguruskan akaun emel,
- memasang perisian dan skrip,
- memuatnaik dan menyimpan fail,
- menguruskan domain,
- memasang Password Protection,
- memantau statistic pelawat ke laman web,
- dan berbagai lagi… (sekadar menyebut beberapa perkara sahaja !)

APA ITU NAMA DOMAIN & WEBHOSTING ?




Jika anda serius ingin memulakan perniagaan internet, maka perkara yang paling utama anda perlu ada ialah Laman Web. Memang tidak dinafikan bahawa anda masih boleh melakukan perniagaan di internet tanpa laman web, namun keberkesanannya tidaklah semaksima yang diharapkan.

Apa itu Nama Domain ?

Nama Domain ialah nama perniagaan anda di internet. Jika di dunia nyata anda perlu mendaftarkan perniagaan anda, begitu jugalah di internet. Dengan mendaftarkan nama domain, bererti nama domain tersebut akan kekal menjadi hak milik anda. Nama Domain juga akan menggambarkan identiti dan imej perniagaan yang sedang anda usahakan.

Namun begitu, pendaftaran nama domain bukanlah didaftarkan dengan agensi kerajaan sebagaimana anda mendaftar perniagaan offline anda. Ianya didaftarkan dengan penjual nama domain atau pun lebih dikenali sebagai “Pendaftar Nama Domain”. Nama domain anda juga akan menjadi alamat kepada laman web anda apabila diletakkan pada URLnya nanti.

Nama domain boleh dibeli melalui laman web yang menyediakan perkhidmatan webhosting. Harga nama domain adalah tertakluk kepada penyedia webhosting tersebut dan pakej yang ditawarkannya. Biasanya adalah di sekitar RM30.00 ke atas, untuk tempoh setahun. Selepas itu anda perlu memperbaharuinya semula.

Sebelum membeli nama domain yang anda hajati, anda perlu menyemak apakah nama domain tersebut masih belum atau pun sudah dimiliki oleh pehak lain. Untuk menyemaknya anda boleh meletakkan nama domain pilihan anda ke dalam kotak carian yang disediakan oleh laman web tersebut. Jika kotak carian tersebut menjawab “Taken”, bermakna nama domain tersebut telah dipunyai oleh pehak lain. Jika tertera perkataan “Available”, anda berpeluang untuk membeli nama pilihan anda itu.

Apa itu Webhosting ?

Webhosting pula, jika hendak diseumpamakan dengan perniagaan sebenar, bolehlah diandaikan seperti ruang atau tapak kedai anda. Jika laman web anda untuk tujuan persatuan, ianya adalah seperti ruang pejabat pentadbiran persatuan anda! Untuk berniaga di internet, anda perlu menyewa “ruangan” ini bagi membolehkan laman web anda ditempatkan. Saiz “ruang perniagaan” ini adalah bergantung kepada kemahuan anda, berdasarkan saiz laman web anda. Ianya diukur dengan sukatan Megabyte (Mb) .

Harga bagi webhosting ini juga adalah bergantung kepada tawaran yang diberikan oleh setiap penyedia hosting. Ada yang menjual dengan kadar yang murah bagi setiap Mb tetapi mewajibkan anda membeli jumlah minima Mb yang bersaiz besar.
